K'NAAN - NOTHING TO LOOSE (LYRIC VIDEO)

An experiment with 3D motion tracking and particular.  Each verse is one long shot that I tracked in Boujou, then composited in After Effects CS5.5.    Particles were generated using Particular, and animated with Sound Keys.  I also use Mocha for AE to rotoscope out some of the foreground elements.  I learned a lot about 3D tracking making this video.  Lots of the shots were hard to track due to moving elements in the scene that had to be masked out.  Exporting to AE from Boujou is much easier then with Match Mover, and setting up coordinate systems in Boujou is fairly straightforward.  Being able to export a 3D camera to AE made for easy integration with Particular.  I'm curious to test the power of the new 3D track built into After Effects CS6.
